The Average Player should be playing with a Low Compression Ball
I have been golfing for a very long time. I have seen my handicap from the single digits during high school to currently playing bogey golf. Because the majority of us aren't playing golf for a living, majority of golfers don't stretch properly or not at all. Thus, we lose valuable distance off the tee. Since I am part of that demographics, for the past decade, I have been playing with low compression balls. As a weekend golfer, I have been able to play consistent bogey golf. A 50 compression ball provided me everything I need. The distance, the accuracy, and the ability to feel the ball coming off the face of the club are very important to me. I have been playing with Wilson Staff 50 compression balls for the past 3 months and I am completely satisfied with them. In fact, when my playing partners ask what ball I'm playing, I lie. LOL. Why give my secret away?!?! LOL
