Callaway Mini-Driver 4U?
I often play with a friend who hits a 2–3-year-old TaylorMade Mini-Driver and I was tempted to try the new Callaway. Golfballs.com had what I wanted:11.5 loft, regular shaft. I played one round, and it will stay in my bag indefinitely. I can generate more club speed and when I contact the ball it is always solid. If I catch my standard (Callaway Epic) driver flush, I might be able to squeeze another 8-12 yards, but I am consistently hitting the Mini as far as my average standard driver (and mostly a bit more). Here' the dividend: the dispersion with the Mini is very tight - normally I'm within 5-10 yards from my aim point. If dispersion is a problem with your current driver, try this one. I think it's worth every penny I paid for it. PS: don't reverse the weights until you've had a chance to hit it; I have a high ball flight but am better off with the 12g in the rear.
