Inspired by the renowned Gold Putter Vault, the PING Vault Mallet Putters have unique precision milling and advanced features like True-Roll face technology and alignment aids to produce a smooth roll with enhanced feel. There are two different mallets in the Vault line – the Bergen and the Oslo – and each comes in either a platinum or slate finish.
The Bergen
The PING Vault Bergen mallet putter utilizes a raised crown alignment aid the same width as a golf ball, which is similar to that of previous award-winning models. Other features include a 365-gram head, 35-inch standard length shaft that can be adjusted, and a lie angle range of 2-degrees either way.The Oslo
Simpler than the other mallet in this line, the Oslo has a smaller footprint and a lower-level sightline. It incorporates a 365-gram head, 35-inch standard length shaft that can be shortened or lengthened, and a lie angle range of 2-degrees either way.Smooth Roll and Stability
The body of the mallet is carefully milled from 6061 T-6 aluminum under the supervision of skilled craftsmen to ensure the highest quality results. Each model possesses a performance-driven True-Roll face that uses varying depths to improve ball speed on mishits. Stainless steel weighting along the bottom raises MOI and lowers center of gravity for better stability through the shot, while a double-bend shaft can alter to work with either slight arc or straight stroke styles.Pistol 62 Grip
Each model features a 68-gram PING Pistol 62 grip, which has a contoured pistol shape that feels natural in the hand, molding to palm and fingertips for a more even grip. Its soft yet tacky polymer construction prevents slippage and further enhances the comfort.Features of the PING Vault Mallet Putters:
- Both the Oslo and the Bergen are available in two finishes: platinum or slate
- 68-gram PING Pistol 62 grip contours to fit comfortably in palm and fingertips to achieve a more even grip pressure
- 6061 T-6 aluminum milled body and True-Roll face of varying thickness enhances ball speed
- Weighted bottom enhances MOI and lowers center of gravity for more stability and smoothness through the shot
- Alignment aids unique to each model
