Great Ball But Color Can Come Off
I find the Taylor TP5X to be as long or longer than any other high performance ball out there. It also spins high enough that I can't tell the difference between it and other competitor balls.
The one area where I think these balls can be improved upon is in the durability of the color. While I love the color (it is slightly brighter and lighter than other yellow balls), I have noticed that if the ball hits a cart path or tree, the Taylor TP5x is more likely to lose some of the yellow color when scratched. This is not the case with the many other yellow balls I've played. The ball gets white on these scratch spots at times. It almost looks like the yellow color is painted on rather than the same color throughout the core. Still love the ball and have reordered them.
