Not to bad
Didn't notice any distance increase but i was surprised with the amount of bite it had on the greens compared to the Pro V1 that i usually play. But with dropping 4 strokes after moving to Titleist I'll keep spending the extra money for Pro V's

Best ball out there
I have always liked the Pro V1 yet I play the NXT Tour due to price. It has been a good compromise up to now. I had an offer to purchase a dozen Tour ix (plus 6 free balls) at a local golf shop for under $40.00. What a ball!! Great action around the green. Maybe not the bite of a Pro V1 but very close. It is longer off of the tee but too although length is not a problem for me. I need a healthy blend of the two and you get it with this ball. If they can keep these balls under $40.00 per dozen I will keep th

Better than Prov1 and Prov1x
This ball is better in the wind, a little longer off the tee, has just the right amount of spin, is incredibly durable for a tour ball, and it's less expensive on top of it. It's a no brainer. Doesn't use Titliest just because of tradition. Callaway has a better product.

Callaway Tour ix Logo golfballs have great feel
I have to say that I am very impressed with the Tour ix logo balls. I usually play with the Titleist Pro v1's but decided to give these a try because of the golf tournament pricing that my logo rep was able to give me. Tournament pricing or no tournament pricing I plan on buying these from now on because they are so durable I played a whole round with the same ball.

Another great ball from Callaway Golf
Phil, Ernie, Rocco and Annika? What do they all have in common? They all play the new Callaway Tour ix golf ball. It is the longest tour ball that Callaway has ever made. This 2 core ball offers low spin off the tee and high spin around the greens. One thing the new Callaway Tour ix golf ball offers is a higher MOI resulting in greater accuracy. If you haven't tried the new Callaway Golf Tour ix golf ball I highly recommend it. If it works for the pros it will work for you too.

Good but...
...I also agree with what some of the others have said. this is a great ball, and preforms in the same realm as the Pro V1x, which is also longer off the tee and tends to not be quite as responsive on the short chips from my experience. The Tour i, when released this summer, should correct this issue, but like the Pro v1, will be a few yards shorter off the tee. I think what a lot of people are missing, however, are the characteristics of the hex dimple technology along with the weight that's been moved

WOW!!!
When the ProV1 first arrived on the seen, there was only one word used to discribe it, WOW!!! This is the exact feeling I NOW have with the new IX ball. My distance has increased by 8-12 yards. Playability around greens, increadible!!! Callaway, job well done...

Callaway Golf Tour iX Golf Balls
This ball is longer than the Pro V1x. I played both balls simultaneously this weekend as I compared two drivers. The two drivers were so close to one another that whichever driver hit the iX was longer than the driver hitting the V1x. This pattern repeated itself on ten of the 14 driving holes on my home course. I would hit two iX's with one driver and two V1x's with the other. The iX's were longer regardless of the driver on 10 of 14 holes. On average, I would say the iX's were 5 to 7 yards longer.

Not what I expected
I played through 3 sleeves of these so I gave them a fair chance. But I agree with the others that they just don't want to check up for you on shorter chip/pitch shots. I was use to my V1x's and when chipping with these to the same distance (on some of the same greens) the Ix wouldn't check much and then roll out an additional 8-10 feet. I had to start chipping a fair amount shorter than the prov1x's. Down slope chips weren't fun. Control and distance from the tee and fairway was as comparable to the V1x.
