Precept XP3 Yellow
I am a visually handicapped golfer ( one eye). During the Fall,Winter, and Spring, when the light rays are low, white is hard to see,in the air and on the ground. The yellow and perhaps others, improves the visibility and location of the balls. This is why many outdoor occupations require colored clothing, to improve their visibility. These balls are a definite asset.

color balls in the summer?
I would never recommend a orange ball in the summer or fall months. In England, we only use them when we play in Frosty/snowy conditions. They show up great against the cold white fairways. Unless of course the snow gets too deep and then we retire to the club house for a glass of scotch!

The best ball I have ever played!
Last week I purchased a box of Percept XP3 Series Golf Balls. In the past I have played Precept Lady S III, Callaway HX Pearl, Volvik Crystal, Titleist DT Solo and most recently Wilson Staff Fifty. Prior to playing with the Percept XP3 I never noticed much difference between balls until this weekend. I just love the Percept XP3 ball. This ball flew much further than any other ball I have ever hit. No kidding I gained 10-20 yards on my drives. My swing speed is between 75-80 mph and I have a 20 handic

Precept XP3 yellow
I actually liked the feeling of the ball around the greens and the distance was very good. I have to say the yellow balls were easier to see in the rough vs the white. I will buy these again.

precept orange xp3
Love the ball! But was so frustrated because I had to hut for the ball on every drive! Most of the time it was in the middle of the fair way and I could not see it. I would mess up my next shot mad because I took so much time looking for the ball. I would love to exchange for the yellow or white. It's a good ball!!

Invisible golf balls
I've emailed Precept advising they start a line of clothing for the military and hunters in this color. You can't see them off the tee, you can't see them on the ground. Four lost ball penalties in three holes before switching to white. I never lost another after the change.

Where are My Balls?
I received a dozen of the orange balls from a friend recently, and while playing with him (in November, in Central Ohio - i.e. autumn) used a few. I should say, lost a few, meaning, I lost every ball I hit, including down the middle of the fairway, and just off the green on a short par 3. Sure, there were more than a few "orange" colored leaves around from the fall foliage, but I had to stop playing the Precept Orange, because they DISAPPEARED in the medium length fairway grass. I never had this happen before. We were laughing about them being "Camoflauge Balls, Virtually Impossible for the Human Eye to Find, etc"I hit them well, and the shots were straight, but I cant comment on distance or anything else, as they simply vanished. I plan on trying the yellows or whites again soon.

Yellow XP3
Picked up a box of the yellow because we have been playing a tough course with high rough, Nationwide played there recently. Anyway I kept losing my balls even if they rolled one foot into the rough. I was shocked at the distance but more impressed with the softness and control. Putting was easy although they do feel a little too soft. So I like them enough to keep buying them, even though they are yellow. Who cares if it saves me strokes. I highly recommend if you are someone who shoots in the 90's or 80's.

Precept XP3 - Less money for a GREAT ball
So I need golf balls - I go to Dicks and have my choice of any ball known to golfers. I pick two dozen of these 'new' Precepts and realize that I'm paying less for two dozen than I usually pay for one dozen Titleists or Callaways. I have a scramble tournament the next day and we win, me playing my Precept and my partners playing Nike, Titleist and Callaway. I gained distance and felt really good around the greens and putting. The ball 'responds' off the clubhead yet is 'workable'. It settles in softly, checks up well and, when I putted, rolled true. So true in fact that I sank a twelve foot downhill putt on the last hole - we won by one.I love the ball and love the design with the XP3 arrow.
