Titleist VG3 Pearl Golf Balls

Okay, I am currently 10-12 handi and a very long hitter who needs to fine tune short game (read putting). 6-2, 210 lbs, Average drive 275-285. I prefer a Pro-V1 but play a V1x as well. I thought I'd give these a shot, I like the pearl finish and have only seen it on the ladies Callaway. Got 4 dz. 1 dz were defective and had a rough sand-papery finish compared to a Pro-V, I held both at the same time. The other 3 dz had more normal feel. My drives are slightly shorter than with Pro V-1. No noticible difference with short game, I don't put much spin on anyway. Don't mind playing with them but don't think they are better than Pro-V. Dimples are bigger and shaped differently. Love the look and double numbers. Hope it helps.

I too am getting 15 to 20 yards more distance and in a straight line. The VG3 is incredible to play and save me strokes with the alignment arrows. Great response off short irons. from tee to green they are worth a try.

I am definitely getting 10-20 more yards with this ball. I love it.

I usually play the ProV1x or Bridgestone B330Rx ball and I was impressed with this ball!! It is not soft like these balls, but they felt good on every aspect of my game! I can't seem to find them in my local shops though. I am trying to find a ball to be consistent with and a better price.

I found the VG3 in my local golf shop and tryed one. I had been trying many different 3 piece balls and some 2 piece...the VG3 by far out performed all other choices...I used to buy Pro V1 but stopped due to the cost and I lose to many balls for the price....VG3 is woth every penny....better than Pro V1...bought 2 dozen today before they disappear

I found this ball and was having a bad day; so, I proceeded to give it a try and I found this ball to be approximately 1 club longer as I normally play PRO V1's and this was an extremely nice suprise. It was consistently longer and had an extremely higher ball flight. Excellent choice for anyone with an average handicap or in wet conditions.
