Top-Flite XL 3000 Super Long - Golf Balls

I don't think these balls are anything special, just your basic golf ball. I actually prefer the plain white or yellow Top Flite XL model balls more than these.

If you want a ball that feels good off the driver and even sweeter off the irons, then the XL 3000 is a good place to start. The XL 3000 produces excellent launch height while still offering longer distance. I have noticed a drastic improvement in my ability to control the long shot - "drop and stop". No more playing a well hit long shot to the green only to see it race over the back and into the dreaded bunker. This ball definitely has my vote. Well done Top-Flite.

I give this ball a 5 rating because of how far it flies. I have played several balls for distance such as Calloway Wardbird, Nike Ignite, and Wilson D2's,etc, but none comes as close as this one to distance. The old Molitor(Scary Long), which are no longer made came the closest. Although the 3000's don't have the softness and spin, I have on occassion got them to spin some as I've gotten better. Still no Pro V1's though. A great distance ball for the price.
